Tired and excited.

Been so busy recently. It's been awesome.

This was a lot of fun:

For some reason I can't upload the video, but I'll work on that. We filled the silhouette of the OXO tower with games of noughts and crosses. It took 296 games in 1 hour, 5 minutes and 45 seconds. ha ha

It was great to see Kyle too. I miss not seeing him as much as I'd love to. We had a minty latte on Brighton beach, and yabbered like oldies at a women's institute. Perfect.

I've also been playing around with various techniques. Making the most of the workshops, etc which I love.

Loving my diana:

Which reminds me, really want to go see Hal Sear's work:

Really wanting to get into photography again actually. Have been down to photography about a chance to be 'refreshed' in the darkroom. Whenever I have a gap...lush. Kelly has also asked me to do her photo shoot for her final major project, so I am really excited about that.
But I really wanna make the most of all my cameras and mix it up and learn new tricks. I wanna do THIS (two-strip technicolor?):

Been up to Ashala's old tricks and loving it:

Just feeling more and more 'me' in my clothes of late.

Also, it's it funny sometimes when you hit on something, it opens up a whole spiral of inspiring stuff. Such as...
Reading about the Rankin Live! - wanting 1000 faces of 21st century Britain (interested me), which reminded me of the Times Magazine issue which included a taster of the gorgeous works of Stephen Jones and the exhibition at the V&A I MUST see:

Which, in true 'tedious link' style...Stephen Jones was the Mad Hatter in the 2003 Vogue recreation of Alice in Wonderland. Which is a 'current affair' in my work and current interests. A copy of that Vogue, MUST be upstairs in my mother's wonderful archive. I looooove this:

Where WAS I? ha ha ha

And this image in the sequence...

...reminds me of Lauren Child's 'Princess and the Pea'. Something I adore...from the type to the peas.

So, it's so good to be feeling more and more flushed with inspiration after what feels like YEARS of artists block. Let's hope I can start producing worthwhile wows myself.

Things just feel really good and exciting right now. All my bulbs are coming up in the garden, even the massive white daffodil. He was a bit late see.
And I went to my mama's work, and planted up these...

...either side of the front doors to her school.
The pots are gorgeous black glazed, and I just popped in some primlets and gold lace polys, ivy and aucubas. They look great...whilst still in the school colours - of course! he he

I have so much more to mention, but the day looks inviting and shiny, and I want to go outside...next time.
