You and me in the Photobooth.

So I'm working with air drying clay...and it's really tricky. A hell of a lot trickier than I thought. I'm making plant pots for my current project...revamping horticulture. But the pot I've just made looks like it's melted...oops!
I'm excited for painting it though!

I've been trying to source all sorts of plants for this project. Like these amazing Rex Begonias, which are apparently really old fashioned - I think they're stunning. Plus a Bat plant, wow:

It's got whiskers and eveything!

I've finished my last day of full time work. I loved working there this summer...it gave me my sanity back and I've learnt so much. And I got a very lush surprise at the end - I nearly cried I was so overwhelmed! I'm beginning to like surprises a whole lot more than I used to, it's exciting!

I've been doing research for my dissertation, which is a bit daunting. I went to my college and gave a talk to the B-tec and Foundation students about my work. I was great. I got old fanzines and greetings cards and photographs out...I felt all hyped up.

Been listening to lots of good music of late.

The Brand New album is perfect. Lyrics that catch my breath and make dusk ecstatic.

And other talented boys and girls who talk of moon and moon and glass and magic and delirium and ex-lovers and photobooths. So good.

And been watching lots of good films. Camp Rock has to be my favourite. he he I'm serious.

Since it's been getting nippier, I thought I'd best invest in some knitwear. I've worn one jumper nearly every day since I got it cause I love it so much. It's got rock and roll written in angora fur on the front. Eeek!

I planted up my orchid into a big perspex cube...my little showstopper! I also bought a cyclamen that wowed me - it's pink and white with white frills, and I LOVE IT.

Oh, and I've been making lots more corsages - Spitalfields here I come! he he
