Firstly, I went to Guildford for some mischief. I got my eyebrows threaded - the pain is always worth it! And a necklace which looks good enough to eat! Talking of eats - I then CHOSE to order olives! Gasp! ha ha Ciabatta in Balsamic is admittedly one of my tastebuds' favourite things.
Then I've been making the most of the sunshine in the garden - it's looking so good right now! I have shoots on all the roses and the Jasmine, etc...worth the effort and love! he he All the herbs are shooting, including the lemon verbena - and I replaced a few thymes! They all smell delicious!
I will definitely grow carrots again next year - the boys seem to love them, which is very flattering! he he The boys have been enjoying the sunshine too - I love their company as I'm pruning!
Since I've been enjoying having neat, unbitten, clean nails recently - I invested in a pair of gardening gloves for work. They are purple, of course!
Until this morning, my nails were mint green with white tips (a twist on the Frenchie!), so they kept them pristine!
I've had lots of hugs from Nesty. He's such a darling woodlouse...
I went to Brighton to see Kyle, which was lovely - as always! The lanes had changed quite a bit, so it was fun being a tourist for the day. I had my hair cut, so I now feel silky (and can see, ha ha).
We enjoyed Pear Bulmers on the beach, and had a chat about arty affairs! Kyle is always like a breath of fresh air - there's no one who knows me so well when it comes to Ashala&art. I hope we do share a studio one day! He inspires me and reminds me what I love about being creative - and reassures me how happy I am being me...I don't want to change for anyone or anything, ever.
I got some plain tees to customize this week, and a fondant fancie shakeaway - yummy! I also scoured the lanes for beautiful buttons, and found some gems! I'm looking forward to making more brooches!
I also went in Get Cutie - the dresses are now £95! As much as I love them, I think making my own pattern sounds kinder to my pocket! ha ha
Next to the John Peel, is a new addition...
I've been inspired and seen lots of great things recently. With some things, I'm slow off the mark, but it's better late than never:

(Kebab lamps by Gallop)
I can't stand Will Ferrell, but Semi-Pro was hilarious.
"I'm so happy. I can't feel my arms", ha.
Inkheart was surprisingly great too. It had that cute actor in it, who fronts the queercore band in Nick+Norah's Infinite Playlist, ha ha...

I am SO excited about (500) days of Summer tomorrow. Arghhhh. Times a million.

I'm going to paint my nails and get some sleeps.
