On the 15th, Ratty and I went to Portugal.
The first time we'd been on a plane or out of the country together. Nuzzling up. Bright blue sky and endless white sand. Shutters. Frankfurters. The Police. U2. Getting huffed at for not weighing the groceries. Swimming hats. My new purple sandals and Ratty's new Vans (without white socks). Woof. "Lily Allen". The first time Ratty had driven abroad. Tan lines. The biggest tomato. Parrots. The chair under the door. Granny P. Lip sunblock and that hat.

Then for my actual birthday me and my mama had a girly night in, watched Confessions of a Shopaholic and ate giant pink french fancy cake! I feel like I've had a birthday MONTH! he he

After loving swimming in Portugal, I've been going swimming back at home too. Sooo proud that I'm still able to go from one end of the pool to the other under water! ha ha I want to go swimming again with Ratty ( just cause he looks so good in a swimming hat, he he).

I saw Kyle for our Swallow Bakery treat tradition! I love the turquoise sugar on the Blueberry number!

I would really really like to get my paws on the Hummingbird Bakery Cookbook. Lavender icing - ooo! As long as it tastes better than it smells! he he I made spectacular carrot cupcakes yesterday. I ruined the vanilla frosting a tad (too much milk), but I'm getting there - and love it!

I've been getting crafty at work - making lots of vinyl signs. I'm such a geek cause I love it - using the biggest masking tape in the world! I've made magnetic signs for the vans, and a banner for the bridge - exciting, I feel important!

I've been enjoying the garden! I spent both of my days off pruning and feeding the borders, planting up roses and cordylines, trimming the edges and weeding. I love the colour of Miracle Gro - it's bright turquoise!
My favourite things are my Peppermint Bizzies (still looking FABULOUS!) and my little Chanteney carrots - impressively tasty!

Lots more to tell, but I am super sleepy. Yesterday morning Ratty left for America, and I haven't heard a peep from him yet - so I had such a restless night last night. Eeeek.
